Morland is seven miles south east of Penrith in the centre of the Penrith, Appleby and Shap triangle, less than 15 minutes from Junctions 39 and 40 of the M6. It is in the Eden Valley, centrally situated for the Lake District, the Pennines, the Yorkshire Dales, Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall. Carlisle, Kendal and Keswick are all 25 miles, or 40 minutes drive. The picturesque village is surrounded by lush rolling countryside ideal for walking and cycling.
